Welcome to Floating Gold Iceberg! We're a clothing design company based out of Victoria, Canada that combines the talents of five young women, who with a little help from our friends, design, cut, sew and silkscreen everything you see here!

The Floating Gold Iceberg line is created in our production studio where we focus on making high end handmade clothing and accessories as well as silkscreened (sweat shop free) t-shirts for men, women and children. Our screen printed artwork is all hand drawn and, like our clothing line, also produced inhouse.
We recently opened a beautiful flagship boutique in Market Square, right in the heart of old town Victoria. We offer our full line of clothing and accessories including skirts, pants, tops, dresses, scarves, leather wallets, printed cards and pillows. We are also proud to carry select accessories by emerging designers. These include 'Janamade Jewellery', who's charming pieces are punctuated with heart wrenching detail and 'Love Jules', a Whistler based artist who creates belts and headbands that are equally adorable and artistic.

Our name has been described to us in so many ways- beautiful, interesting, inspiring and strange! It's taken from a story about the band 'The Band', who's lifestyle was once referred to as a 'floating gold iceberg'. When choosing a name for our company we found that it represented all the right imagery for us. It's oddly Canadian, as so many Canadian things are. It's shiny! and the word 'floating' references the Ukiyo-e, or ''floating world' period of Japanese print design, the style and backgrounds of which have been a great inspiration to us. Floating Gold Iceberg incorporates a gentle approach to the classic tale of east meets west, simplicity in our clothing design and detail in our print work. This combination ends up looking distinctly Canadian to us, an obvious reflection of where, and how, we live. We're excited to offer a quality artistic product that's made locally and sold in our own shop as well as select boutiques across Canada.
